1. Introduction
StrideLoop provides a fitness challenge platform designed to motivate runners through virtual challenges, point-based rewards, and community engagement. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the StrideLoop platform, including all websites, mobile apps, and services (collectively, “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Acceptance of Terms
Your use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any applicable supplemental policies. We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updates.
3. StrideLoop Challenges
- StrideLoop challenges are independent virtual challenges created and managed solely by StrideLoop, not by any event organizer.
- These challenges have no affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement from event organizers, race directors, or third-party events.
- Challenges exist purely to motivate participants to run, improve performance, and stride at their personal best.
- Participation in StrideLoop challenges does not confer any rights, benefits, or recognition from external events or organizers.
4. StrideLoop Points System
- Points earned through StrideLoop challenges (“Points”) cannot be converted to real money, cash equivalents, or financial instruments.
- Points serve as a motivational reward system and hold no monetary value outside the Platform.
- Points may be redeemed exclusively for products listed on StrideLoop or discounts on future StrideLoop-hosted events.
- Redemption is subject to availability and StrideLoop’s sole discretion. StrideLoop reserves the right to modify or discontinue redemption options without notice.
- Points cannot be claimed for real money, vouchers, gift cards, or other monetary rewards unless explicitly offered by StrideLoop through official promotions.
- Points distribution occurs within 7 days after challenge completion, based on official event timing data, not personal tracking devices or apps.
- Point calculations prioritize verified event results. StrideLoop is not responsible for discrepancies between personal trackers and official timing.
5. Account and Participation Eligibility
StrideLoop facilitates payment processing for event entries. Please note the following refund policies:
- You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account and participate.
- Each user may maintain only one active account. Multiple accounts or fraudulent activity may result in account suspension.
- Participation requires accurate registration information. Providing false information may lead to disqualification and point forfeiture.
- StrideLoop reserves the right to verify participation through event results, GPS data, or other methods.
6. Redemption and Rewards
- Points redemption is limited to eligible products, discounts, or services specified on the Platform.
- All redemptions are final. No refunds, exchanges, or returns on redeemed items.
- StrideLoop partners determine product availability and fulfillment. StrideLoop is not liable for partner performance or product quality.
- Points expire 12 months from the date earned unless otherwise stated.
7. Limitation of Liability
- StrideLoop provides challenges for motivational purposes only and assumes no responsibility for physical injury, event participation risks, or third-party event outcomes.
- The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties. StrideLoop disclaims liability for data loss, technical issues, or service interruptions.
- Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to StrideLoop (if any) in the past 12 months.
- You agree to indemnify StrideLoop against claims arising from your misuse of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
8. Termination
StrideLoop may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms, fraud, or at its discretion. Terminated accounts forfeit all Points and access.
